Aon, a global insurance and reinsurance broking group, has hired Tony DeMarco from Gallagher Re as Managing Director within its Reinsurance Solutions division, based in New York.
In his new role, DeMarco will support the design and execution of casualty placements, drawing on his analytical foundation and international experience.
He has over a decade of experience in brokering large national and global professional lines and casualty treaty programmes.
DeMarco brings deep technical expertise across longtail lines, including professional, cyber and casualty.
Most recently, he served at reinsurance broker Gallagher Re for over three years as both a Senior Vice President and Vice President (VP).
Previously, DeMarco spent over six years at Willis, a WTW business, in the roles of VP, Assistant VP, Reinsurance Analyst, and Financial Analyst.
He is an Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) and started his career in the industry as a Corporate Solutions Intern for Willis in 2014.
