Insurance broker Clear Group has appointed Barbara Duffy as Group Chief People & Performance Officer, effective 8th September 2025, and expanded Victoria Gallimore’s responsibilities as Group Chief of Staff.
In her new role, Duffy will lead the company’s people and organisational development strategy, ensuring it continues to attract, develop, and retain top talent while supporting Clear Group’s performance objectives and growth plans.
She brings over two decades of leadership experience in human resources, transformation, and organisational strategy.
Duffy joins Clear Group from IG Group, where she spent more than three years as Global Chief People Officer, leading the People, Sustainability, and Global Communications functions and delivering significant enterprise-wide change.
Prior to that, she held senior roles at St. James’s Place Wealth Management, Extra Energy, RWE, EDF Energy, Nationwide Building Society, and Centrica plc.
Gallimore has been with Clear Group for over five years. Following her successful dual leadership of the Chief of Staff and People & Culture functions, she now takes on an expanded Group Chief of Staff role.
She will continue to work closely with the Group CEO and Executive Leadership Team to drive enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, enhance cross-functional collaboration, and ensure operational alignment across the Group to enable delivery at pace.
Before joining Clear Group, Gallimore worked at Ascot Underwriting as Human Resources Contractor and at RenaissanceRe as Vice President, Human Resources.
