Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS), a provider of insurance management and consulting services, has announced the promotion of Andrew Hupman to Head of Office for SRS Bermuda.
Hupman has been with the SRS Bermuda office since 2008 and will continue to service his existing insurance clients.
SRS has also announced the appointment of Jonathan Reiss as Chair of SRS Bermuda. The executive will continue to provide services to his existing insurance entities and insight to the Bermuda insurance industry.
“Through this change, SRS Bermuda will continue to provide exceptional insurance management services to our clients,” a SRS spokesperson commented on the appointments.
A 32-year veteran of the insurance industry, Reiss joined SRS in 2020. Before that, he served as the CEO of Concert Group, an insurance fronting business launched with support from SRS.
The executive also serves as a director for certain clients of SRS, including various companies of Steamship Mutual, a leading P&I Club insuring the global shipping industry.
He joined SRS from Hamilton Insurance Group where he was part of the founding management team and served as President, Strategic Partnerships and was Group Chief Financial Officer for seven years.
Prior to that, Reiss served as Leader of Ernst & Young’s Insurance practice in Bermuda. He had been with EY, in Bermuda and New York, for 19 years and had been a Partner for 12 years.
