Optio Group, a specialty managing general agent (MGA) providing underwriting and distribution solutions across multiple lines of business, has announced the appointment of Carrie-Ann Hallett as Head of Insurer Partnerships, effective immediately, based in London and reporting to Chief Underwriting Officer, Gary Head.
Hallett joins Optio from Deloitte, where she was instrumental in guiding clients through major underwriting transformation programmes and built a strong reputation as a specialist in the delegated authority sector.
Before her time at Deloitte, she began her career at Hiscox, where she gained broad experience in both underwriting and operational roles, working across a range of business units and distribution channels.
Her appointment supports Optio’s strategy to strengthen collaboration with insurer partners and deliver consistent, long-term underwriting profitability.
