T. Rowe Price strengthens insurance business with three new hires

T. Rowe Price, a global investment management firm, has announced three senior appointments to support the continued expansion of its insurance business.

Headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, the firm provides a broad range of investment solutions across equity, fixed income, and multi-asset capabilities for clients worldwide — from individuals and advisors to institutions and retirement plan sponsors — including those in the re/insurance industry.

Mark Rose has been appointed Insurance Solutions Strategist in the fixed income division. He will report to Steve Boothe, Head of Global Investment Grade, Fixed Income, and will support account management and business development across public and private credit strategies.

Rose spent 11 years at Argo Group, most recently as Chief Investment Officer, overseeing its investment portfolio, including strategic and tactical asset allocation, risk management, and oversight of internal and external investments.

Prior to Argo, he was a high yield credit analyst and member of the derivatives sales desk at Goldman Sachs.

Chase Uhlein and Blayze Hanson have been named Senior Insurance Relationship Managers within the Americas Institutional Business Development team. They will both report to Ben Riley, Head of Insurance.

Uhlein joins T. Rowe Price from J.P. Morgan, where he worked for more than 12 years, most recently as Executive Director.

Hanson brings 12 years of experience from PIMCO, where he served as Vice President, Account Manager, and was deeply involved in insurance sales and service.
